Century-old hemp rope making in Anatolia. Working on handmade looms in the humid caves, children run about 40 kilometers a day from one end of the cave to the other. The threads they produce on handmade wooden looms are used to tie nets, hammocks, fishing nets and various materials. This method, which can be considered as the most primitive method of ropery, is about to disappear in Anatolia.

This project, whose documentary I started in 2009, turned into the first solo exhibition in Istanbul Ibrahim Calli Art Gallery under the name “Lives Between The Lines” and signed by Osman Maasoglu in 2014.
The project, which was exhibited again in many different points of the country, received awards in many international festivals and competitions.

This collection includes 20 works.
